Accelerating the prototyping and verification of your chip design on an FPGA-based platform, the PDK provides designers an out-of-the-box FPGA-based design solution that combines feature-rich development hardware with usability enhancing software.
TAI PDK includes a Dual Virtex-4 TAI Logic Module for core prototyping functionality, TAI Pod Module for clock generation, download, and hardware self-test, and TAI Player software for run-time, debug, and compile capabilities. Designers have the option to choose from logic capacities of 4.0 million gates (two Xilinx V-4 LX200 FPGAs) or 3.2 million gates(two Xilinx V-4 LX160 FPGAs).
